Recognizing the Operations Managing Committee

The goal of the Operations Managing Committe (OMC) is to leverage the collective expertise and experience of Committee members to enhance public safety, operational efficiencies, and promote environmental stewardship through the northeast by providing strategic direction and oversight to all NGA operating committees.

The OMC provides leadership to all NGA operating committees, as most standing operating committees report directly or indirectly to the Operations Managing Committee. The OMC receives regular updates from all operating committees, and approves all changes in operating committee structure. OMC members designate representatives from their company to participate on all operating committees. Additionally, the OMC provides members a forum to exchange ideas, share best practices, provide a unified voice in the regulatory arena, and address industry issues impacting member companies, while balancing the specific needs of individual member companies.

The OMC meets quarterly, and annually reviews the initiatives and accomplishments of the other NGA committees, addressing strategic direction and committee structural changes as needed.
