The mission of the Committee is to collaborate on cyber & physical security strategies and initiatives designed to enhance preparedness and improve member company’s interaction and communications. The Committee leverages the collective expertise and experience of its members by providing members a forum to exchange ideas, share best practices, and address industry issues impacting member companies, while balancing the specific needs of individual member companies.

The Committee typically meets two times each year (i.e., Spring & Fall) and members participate in mutual aid drills/exercises, and webinars.

Committee members recently participated in a presentation from the FBI – National Security Cyber Program. Kristen Lane, Senior Intelligence Analyst - FBI’s Cyber Division, National Security Cyber Program - Washington DC Division presented on Threats to the Energy Sector: A National Security Perspective - This presentation highlighted noteworthy historical and current nation-state cyber threats facing U.S. Critical Infrastructure, in particular the Energy Sector. Additionally, it covered FBI resources to augment threat detection and incident response management.
