Northeast Natural Gas Readiness Forum Agenda Announced

The American Gas Association and Northeast Gas Association are pleased to announce the agenda for the 2026 Northeast Regional Natural Gas Readiness Forum, taking place May 28th in Providence Rhode Island.

Find the Agenda Here

These events are an extension of the Natural Gas Readiness Forum (NGRF), which was recommended by the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) Gas & Electric Alignment for Reliability (GEAR) Task Force and is administered by AGA. The regional forum presentations will explore various regionally-specific topics related to the reliability of the energy system and how the natural gas system prepares for high demand seasons and severe weather events. The event is intended to foster regional operational education, situational awareness, and peer-to-peer connections across the natural gas industry, the electric sector, and end-users.

There is no fee to register, but registration is required. Register Here: 2026 Northeast Regional Natural Gas Readiness Forum

You will not want to miss this opportunity to join key regional stakeholders to strengthen preparedness ahead of high-demand seasons and severe weather events. Attendees will explore region-specific reliability challenges, gain insight into how the natural gas system prepares for peak demand and extreme conditions, and enhance operational awareness through peer exchange and a facilitated tabletop exercise.

We hope to see you there. Got questions, contact Amanda Sramek at asramek@aga.org
