Wrapping Up the 2025 Fall Operations Conference
We are thrilled to report that NGA’s Fall Operations Conference was a resounding success, drawing more than 250 participants from across the region and industry for two days of learning, networking, and innovation in beautiful Saratoga Springs, NY.
Day 1: Fireside Chat with Rhode Island Energy's Michelle Leone
The conference kicked off with a compelling fireside chat with Michelle Leone, Vice President of Gas at Rhode Island Energy, which delved into current challenges and opportunities facing gas operations in our region. That opening conversation perfectly framed many of the themes carried through the rest of the conference.

Packed Sessions & Deep Engagement
Across both days, the conference schedule featured robust, packed sessions covering topics such as field operations, pipeline safety, risk mitigation, regulatory change, and energy infrastructure evolution.
Day 2 Kick Off: Alan Chichester – American Gas Association
Day 2 featured a standout session with Alan Chichester, Managing Director of Safety, Operations & Engineering at the American Gas Association. Alan provided insights into the dynamic regulatory environment impacting natural gas safety across the federal government. Alan remarks provided an important outlook to where the regulatory landscape is headed, and how northeast LDCs can get involved.
Return of the Supply Chain Workshop
Day 2 also featured the return of the Supply Chain workshop. With a session led by Rhode Island Energy’s Kate Hearns and a Member Roundtable, participants were able to address real supply chain challenges and opportunities and discussed room for better communication and collaboration amongst stakeholders across the entire supply chain
