2026 Gas Operations School Curriculum
The curriculum takes place across seven tracks, including 1) Innovation / Management, 2), Customer Service, 3) Distribution, 4) Construction, 5) Gas Supply, Storage & Transmission, 6) Measurement, Control & System Design, and 7) Utility Business Operations.
Gas Operations School Chair and Director of Gas Engineering at Rhode Island Energy Laeyeng Hunt stated, “I am so pleased to share the launch of the brand new Utility Business Operations track at the Gas Operations School. The GOS has long been the premiere gas training program in the Northeast, and I am proud that we are able to expand its offering, bringing more opportunity to learn to our students and to the Northeast’s gas industry.”
NGA Vice President of Communications and Public Policy Alana Daly noted, "in the current regulatory and business environment across the Northeast, change and scrutiny are constants. This new track will give students a well rounded foundation for understanding the business side of our industry, preparing them to be ambassadors in our communities and beyond."
As always, the Gas Operations School blends classroom learning with hands on training, educational tours and local site visits, networking, and a little bit of fun at some of our classic events like the Gas Rodeo, Volleyball Tournament, and the Clam Bake.
Kicking off June 2nd in Smithfield, Rhode Island, you won't want to miss it.
