NGA President and CEO José Costa was quoted in the October 2024 edition of Pipeline & Gas Journal in an article titled U.S. Northeast Outlook: Permitting Reforms Seen as Crucial to Region’s Energy Woes.

Throughout the article, Costa discussed increasing gas demand in the Northeast, both to support residential and commercial customers, as well as increasing electricity generation. Costa also provided insights into the infrastructure constraints in the region, and the steps the natural gas industry is taking to support the energy transition while maintaining reliability and affordability.
