NGA Annual Employee Outing Features Community Service, Team Building, Planning for 2026
NGA Staff Come Together for Annual Employee Outing in Providence, RI
On October 29-30, the NGA staff came together for our annual employee outing in Providence, Rhode Island.
As part of the event, the team volunteered with Operation Stand Down Rhode Island (OSDRI), assembling care packages for veterans across the state. Operation Stand Down provides critical services and support to help veterans secure stable housing, employment, and a better quality of life in Rhode Island and across the Northeast. It was a special opportunity to hear from OSDRI leadership about their important work, and NGA was proud to contribute to their mission and show appreciation for those who have served our country.

The outing also featured valuable team-building and strategic sessions. The NGA team participated in the “Mt. Everest Simulation,” a dynamic exercise led by Bryant University Professor Michael Roberto that emphasized communication, decision-making, and collaboration under pressure.

These lessons—combined with business discussions reflecting on the successes of 2025 and planning for 2026—will help ensure NGA continues to strengthen our programs and deliver meaningful value to members across the region.
