NGA Announces Promotions as Team Members Step into New Roles

The Northeast Gas Association (NGA) is pleased to announce the promotion of four dedicated team members whose contributions have played a vital role in advancing our mission and supporting our members. Their leadership and expertise will continue to drive innovation, deliver value for our members, and strengthen our programs.

Suzanne Chaillou – Director, RD&D Program Management, NYSEARCH

Suzanne Chaillou has been promoted to Director of RD&D, Program Management at NYSEARCH. Suzanne holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Stevens Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing an MBA at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Since joining NYSEARCH over five years ago, Suzanne has led critical projects that enhance gas operations' safety and reliability. In her new role, she will oversee NYSEARCH’s program management portfolio, working to expand and enhance key initiatives for the energy industry. Her leadership will continue to strengthen NYSEARCH as a premier RD&D consortium, driving best practices and industry advancements.

Amanda Jacobson – Manager of Operator Qualifications and Compliance, NGA

Amanda Jacobson has been promoted to Manager of Operator Qualifications and Compliance. With seven years in the natural gas industry, Amanda specializes in Operator Qualification (OQ) administration and technical program development. Since joining NGA in December 2023, she has improved the written evaluation process in collaboration with our business partner, Prometric, and strengthened relationships with members across the region. In her new role, Amanda will oversee daily OQ operations and continue enhancing program processes to support member training and compliance initiatives.

Ahra Kwon – Director, RD&D Member Experience, NYSEARCH

Ahra Kwon has been promoted to Director of RD&D, Member Experience at NYSEARCH. Ahra earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and has been with NYSEARCH for eight years. During her tenure, she has spearheaded significant projects in emerging fuels, clean technologies, and gas safety enhancements. In her new role, Ahra will focus on business development and member engagement, ensuring that NYSEARCH members continue to receive exceptional service while enhancing their access to critical data and resources.

Christian Rodrick – Director of Public Affairs, NGA

Christian Rodrick has been promoted to Director of Public Affairs. Since joining NGA, Christian has been instrumental in advancing public policy and communications strategies. His accomplishments include launching an enhanced member newsletter, leading the website redesign, expanding NGA’s social media presence, and drafting policy documents. He has also been integral in supporting the newly established Government Affairs Committee and supports the Gas Supply Task Force and Public Awareness Committees. In his new role, Christian will continue to elevate NGA’s thought leadership and public education initiatives to further support our members’ goals.
