Earlier this month, NGA held its inaugural Policy Symposium. The event brought together policymakers, regulators, public affairs professionals, and stakeholders from across the Northeast and Washington, D.C.to engage in thoughtful dialogue, share knowledge, and discuss the future of policy in our industry.

Agenda & Highlights

  • We opened the day with a welcome and keynote remarks from National Fuel's longtime-President and Senior Energy Policy Advisor Donna DeCarolis

  • We heard from the United States EPA's Associate Deputy Administrator Travis Voyles, who gave an insight into how the Trump Administration is thinking about natural gas and the environment

  • Manhattan Institute's Ken Girarden provided an update on implementation of New York's CLCPA
  • After a lunch networking period, National Grid's Bryan Grimaldi discussed the state of play for Natural Gas in the Northeast, giving insights into new polling in New York

  • The first panel featured representatives from across the Northeast discussing legislative and regulatory trends across the region.

  • We heard from professionals in the Artifical Intelligence industry about how public affairs, regulatory, and policy professionals should be thinking about AI.
  • During the final session of the day, AGA's Dan Lapato reminded the crowd that "people like us," as he gave an update on policymaking, regulations, and court battles taking place in Washington, D.C. and across the country

  • Attendees networked with a cocktail hour reception to close out the conference.
