As we welcome the warmer weather and the start of outdoor projects, it’s important to remember one critical step before putting a shovel in the ground: always call 811 before you dig!

April is National Safe Digging Month, a nationwide initiative to promote awareness of underground utility safety. Whether you're planning to install a fence, plant a tree, or start a larger excavation project, calling 811 ensures that underground utility lines are properly marked—helping to prevent damage, service disruptions, and serious injuries.
