Policy Symposium Speaker Announcements: "AI in Policymaking" and "Capitol to Capital"
NGA’s Inaugural Policy Symposium kicks off November 6th in Albany, NY, and we’re excited to announce two sessions: AI in Policymaking, and "Capitol to Capital: D.C. and the States."
AI in Policymaking
This timely session will explore how policymakers are thinking about artificial intelligence — and how the energy industry can leverage AI to enhance its regulatory, political, and public affairs efforts.
Panelists include:
-
Jeff Berkowitz, CEO & Co-Founder of Delve – AI for Public Affairs, who brings over two decades at the forefront of political risk and public affairs intelligence.
-
Brendan Kelly, Senior Account Executive at HData, who combines decades of experience in the gas industry with HData’s advanced AI-driven regulatory platform.
Christian Rodrick, NGA’s Director of Public Affairs, will moderate the conversation.
This promises to be an insightful, high-energy session that connects emerging technology with the real-world policy and regulatory issues shaping our industry.
Capitol to Capital: D.C. and the States
Dan Lapato, Vice President of Planning at the American Gas Association will share his perspective on the national view of policymaking, advocacy and energy. Dan brings with him more than two decades of policy experience spanning the PA Department of Environmental Affairs, the American Public Gas Association, and the AGA.
Don’t miss it!
Also, don’t forget about our previously announced speakers, Donna DeCarolis, Senior Policy Advisor and former-President of National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation, and Travis Voyles, Deputy Associate Administrator of the U.S. EPA and former-Secretary of Natural and Historic Resources for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
