What's New

The Full Agenda Is Here: NGA's Spring Operations Conference Takes Shape

Kicking off April 21–22, 2026, in Saratoga Springs, NY

Momentum is building for the NGA Spring Operations Conference, and today we’re excited to share two major updates: the day two keynote speaker and the full conference agenda across all three tracks.

Earlier this year, we announced that Scott Rupff, President of Iroquois Pipeline Operating Company, will deliver the opening keynote. With that foundation set, the conference program is now complete—and it’s shaping up to be two days of timely, practical, and forward-looking discussions for gas operations professionals across the Northeast.

Day Two Keynote Announced: Matthew Agen, American Gas Association - Topic: Gas-Electric Coordination

We’re pleased to announce that Matthew Agen, Chief Regulatory Counsel, Energy at the American Gas Association, will serve as our Day Two keynote speaker.

Mr. Agen brings more than 20 years of experience advising and representing natural gas distribution companies, pipelines, and electric utilities on complex federal regulatory matters. His career spans private practice and federal service, with deep expertise in proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and other federal agencies. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the North American Energy Standards Board and as an Associate Member of the CFTC’s Energy and Environmental Markets Advisory Committee.

As federal and state regulators increasingly focus on Electric-Gas coordination, Mr. Agen’s perspective will offer valuable insight into the evolving landscape facing our industry.

Full Agenda Released Across Three Tracks

In addition to our keynote lineup, we’re also announcing the full agenda for the Spring Operations Conference, featuring sessions across three focused tracks:

  • Pipeline Safety & Compliance
  • Gas Operations: Innovation & Leading Practices
  • Workforce Development

From safety and compliance challenges to operational innovation and workforce planning, the agenda is designed to deliver actionable takeaways for utility professionals at every level.
