Practical Aspects of Management of Change (MOC)

NGA is pleased to announce an important upcoming Management of Change (MOC) Seminar scheduled for March 13, 2026 (10:00am- 11:30 am). This focused seminar is specifically designed for Frontline Supervisors and Field Technicians who play a critical role in recognizing and managing operational changes which may arise in the field.

Why Attend?
Change happens constantly, whether involving system assets, procedures, personnel, or site conditions. Understanding when a change must be managed through the MOC process is essential to maintaining system safety and reliability. This seminar will re-enforce fundamentals of applying MOC principles in day-to-day operations and provide participants with the knowledge to identify changes, understand operational risks, and distinguish what requires the MOC process.

What is MOC?
Management of Change (MOC) is a formal process used to capture and evaluate changes related to technology, equipment, procedures, personnel responsibilities, or site conditions—helping ensure continued safe operation of gas system infrastructure.

Who Should Attend?
Anyone working in the field or supervising field activities who may encounter operational changes that require evaluation.
