NYSEARCH Continues to Grow, Expanding Its RD&D Footprint

Eversource, New Jersey Natural Gas, FortisBC join NYSEARCH

NGA’s RD&D division, NYSEARCH, continues to strengthen its role as one of the premier natural gas research, development, and demonstration organizations in North America. With a collaborative footprint spanning the United States and Canada, NYSEARCH brings together utilities committed to advancing cutting-edge natural gas research that delivers real-world value.

We’re excited to announce that, over the past year, NYSEARCH has added three new members: Eversource, New Jersey Natural Gas, and FortisBC. Their participation further enhances NYSEARCH’s consortium model, allowing members to collectively invest in innovative research that supports system safety, reliability, efficiency, and emissions reduction. Each new member brings unique perspectives and expertise that will help shape the future of natural gas RD&D.

In addition to our growing utility membership, NYSEARCH has also launched a new Associate Member program, expanding opportunities for broader collaboration and engagement across the industry. This new program connects industry vendors, service providers, and technology manufactures with the NYSEARCH consortium of LDCs focused on innovation and research, fostering a collaborative environment for accelerated technology development.

With new members, new programs, and a continued commitment to utility-focused research, NYSEARCH is well-positioned for continued growth and leadership in natural gas RD&D.
