On May 14th, NGA's Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Policy, Alana Daly, joined the CBIA for their Connecticut Energy and Environment Conference. Alana sat on a panel titled "Where Next for Natural Gas?" and was joined by Eversource Energy's Nikki Bruno and Consumer Energy Alliance's Bryson Hull. The Panel was moderated by Joe Fagan of Day Pitney LLP. During the panel, Alana expressed the importance of natural gas for Connecticut and the entire Northeast for ensuring energy reliability and affordability. The panel discussed lessons learned from this past winter, and the need for more infrastructure to meet demand during periods of extended cold like we experienced during Winter Storm Fern.
