NGA Supports IDEA's Campus Energy 2025 Conference Focused on Accelerating the Energy Transition

December 2, 2024

The Northeast Gas Association is pleased to invite our members to consider registering for the International District Energy Association’s IDEA CampusEnergy 2025 conference to be held February 3-6, 2025 in Boston at the Westin Seaport Hotel.

Like NGA, IDEA is also a non-profit industry association, formed in 1909, whose members own and operate district heating, district cooling and cogeneration systems in cities, communities and campuses. Natural gas is the primary fuel in most of these systems.

Organized under the theme of “Accelerating the Energy Transition”, the conference features up to six (6) technical tracks and a sold-out exhibit hall with 140 business partners. More than 1,200 attendees are expected. NGA has arranged for our members to have access to member registration fees for this conference.

NGA is also supporting a special one-day workshop on Feb 6 on District Thermal Energy Networks ITENs) – Business Best Practices on Thursday, February 6 which will feature discussions on the feasibility of TENs as a “non-pipe” alternative in regulated settings; best practices in business development and rate designs to ensure financial viability while managing risk; and lessons learned from utility thermal energy networks (UTENs) pilot projects in the Northeast, and much more.

To register for the main conference, the post-conference workshop on District Thermal Energy Networks, or both, please visit Registration - CampusEnergy2025, and use discount code CE2025NGA when registering in order to secure the member rate.
