NGA Kicks Off 2026 LNG/LP Safety & Emergency Training Program
The Northeast Gas Association successfully launched its 2026 LNG/LP Safety and Emergency Training Program with kickoff sessions held April 1–2. This marks the first of eleven sessions scheduled to run through November as part of NGA’s ongoing commitment to delivering premier, industry-leading training for members and the broader natural gas community.
The program continues to build on NGA’s strong foundation of providing high-quality, firsthand instruction focused on safety, emergency preparedness, and operational excellence across LNG and propane.
Day one of the kickoff session featured classroom instruction led by Program Director Andy Carrigan, alongside Massachusetts Firefighting Academy staff members Norm Seymour and Mike Reardon. Their expertise and real-world experience set the tone for another impactful training year, equipping participants with practical knowledge and best practices to enhance safety and response capabilities.

As the program progresses through 2026, NGA remains dedicated to supporting the industry with relevant, timely, and high-value training that strengthens safety performance and operational readiness across the region.
