NEXT WEEK: Part 192 - 3 day training -- Sign up today!

NGA’s 2026 Pipeline Safety Regulation Workshop (Part 192) is taking place October 20-22, 2026, at Eversource's Training Facility in Shrewsbury, MA.

This three-day, in-person workshop offers an immersive learning experience into federal pipeline safety regulations (49 CFR Parts 191 & 192). The learning experience is unique as it also incorporates a PSMS “connections & principles” perspective throughout the regulatory compliance discussions. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding through a “what, why & how” approach to the intent of safety regulations while learning how to access and use PHMSA’s online compliance & regulatory tools. Finally, the class integrates practical, hands-on regulatory compliance approaches to day-to-day operations through Eversource's training facility.

Highlights include:

  1. Day 1: PHMSA overview, reference tools, welding, corrosion control, and meter/regulator inspection
  2. Day 2: Pressure testing & uprating, operations & maintenance, leak investigations, and integrity management
  3. Day 3: Operator qualification, drug & alcohol program requirements, and a final knowledge check

Space is limited for this workshop. If you or someone on your team is interested in attending or learning more, please visit NGA’s website: Pipeline Safety Regulation Workshop Part 192
