NGA is pleased to welcome Waverly Meyers and Micah Rezendez to the team this summer. Waverly is serving as a Public Affairs Intern, while Micah joins NGA as a co-op student from Northeastern University.

Waverly Meyers graduated from Wesleyan University in the Spring of this year with a double-major in Psychology and Science and Technology Studies. During her four years at Wesleyan, Waverly was a member of the women’s soccer team. This is Waverly's second stint at NGA, as she interned for the Public Affairs Team last summer where she conducted research about the gas industry to help develop The Pipeline, the online home of NGA's Statistical Guide. Waverly also assisted with website updates and other internal projects. This summer, Waverly will continue to support the Public Affairs Team, including updating the statistical guide and contributing to the production of content on NGA’s media channels. Looking ahead, Waverly hopes to pursue a career in marketing or public relations, where she can apply her understanding of human behavior to help companies create compelling narratives. Aside from her professional interests, she loves running, hiking, reading, and music.

Micah Rezendez is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Northeastern University and expects to graduate in 2028. He is completing dual concentrations in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, along with a minor in Exercise Science. Micah joined NGA as a co-op student in early July and is supporting the Public Affairs, Operator Qualification, and NYSEARCH teams. Following graduation, he plans to continue his education in physical therapy school before eventually opening his own practice to provide affordable rehabilitation services. Outside of work, Micah enjoys fitness, mechanics, driving, and exploring.
