We also hold our leadership accountable. This involves fostering an inclusive leadership culture that trickles down throughout the organization.
  • Recruitment and Retention: We actively seek diverse talent through unbiased recruitment practices and are dedicated to retaining a workforce that reflects the diversity of our region.

How We Support Our Members

Our commitment to DEI extends beyond our internal practices; we actively support our members in fostering inclusive environments within their own organizations. Here's how we collaborate with our members to advance DEI through education:

  • Knowledge Sharing and Resources: Our Board of Directors authorized the formation of the DEI and Workforce Development Committee. Through this committee and other avenues, we provide our members with access to DEI resources, best practices, and expert insights, empowering them to integrate diversity and inclusion into their business strategies.
  • Educational Initiatives: Through conferences, workshops, and training, we facilitate educational initiatives that equip our members with the knowledge and tools necessary to cultivate a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Networking Opportunities: Through curated events, forums, and networking sessions, we create spaces where our members can connect, share experiences, and learn from one another in the journey toward fostering diverse and inclusive workplaces.
  • Safety and Inclusivity Moments: NGA starts each official NGA meeting with a brief Safety moment and Inclusivity moment, where participants can share a recent experience that they learned from to improve their practices
