The Annual Gas Operations School of the Northeast Gas Association (NGA) is one of the best-attended operations events in the Eastern United States. Held each June, the school provides education, hands-on-training, a major vendor exhibit, and industry networking.

Save the Dates!: the 2011 School will be held June 7-10, 2011 at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island.

The 54th Annual School was held June 8-11, 2010 at Bryant University and attracted over 500 attendees. About 90 companies participated in the 2-day Exhibit on June 8-9, and about 300 students attended the over 70 classes held from June 9 through 11.

The curriculum areas were: customer service; safety; gas industry fundamentals; maintenance; construction; gas supply; and corrosion control.

NGA expresses its thanks to the School Planning Committee, led by Bob Jalette of The Southern Connecticut Gas Company, and vice chairman Brad Wong of NSTAR, for putting together another comprehensive program. NGA also thanks the sponsors for their great support!
